2. The Competition
2.1 These terms and conditions apply to all skill-based prize competitions listed on the Promoter’s website at https://skillbasedcompetition.co.uk/ (the “Website”) and through any corresponding mobile application operated by the Promoter (the “App”).
2.2 Each competition requires Entrants to demonstrate skill, knowledge or judgment in order to be eligible to win a prize. No competition operated by the Promoter is a lottery or game of chance.
2.3 An entry fee is payable for online entries (“Online Entry Route”). A free entry method is also available by post in accordance with section 4 (“Postal Entry Route”).
2.4 Each person who enters via either route is an “Entrant” for the purposes of these Terms and Conditions.
3. How to Enter
General
3.1 Each competition will run from the date it is published on the Website/App (the “Published Date”) until the stated closing date (the “Closing Date”).
3.2 All times and dates referred to are the times and dates in London, England.
3.3 The Promoter reserves the right to amend the Closing Date where circumstances beyond its control make this necessary and where failing to do so would be unfair to Entrants. Any changes will be displayed on the Website/App.
3.4 Entries received before the Published Date or after the Closing Date may be disqualified without refund.
Online Entry Route (Skill-Based)
To enter online, Entrants must:
- Visit the Website/App
- Select the competition
- Complete the skill-based question, task or challenge specified on the competition page
- Submit their answer or entry
- Complete payment and receive confirmation
Submitting payment does not guarantee success. Only entries that meet the skill criteria will be considered.
Skill Requirement
3.5 Each competition includes a clear skill requirement, which may involve (by way of example only):
- answering a question correctly;
- providing the best answer to a tie-breaker question;
- demonstrating knowledge, judgment or problem-solving ability.
3.6 The skill requirement is designed so that skill, knowledge or judgment determines the outcome, not chance.
Entry Confirmation
3.7 All entries must be submitted in English. Entries in other languages will be disqualified.
3.8 The Promoter will confirm receipt of valid entries by email.
3.9 The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, incomplete or not successfully submitted due to technical issues.

4.5 Incomplete, illegible or non-compliant entries will be disqualified.
5. Recurring Billing & Auto-Entry
5.1 The Promoter may offer optional recurring billing subscriptions.
5.2 Recurring billing does not remove the skill requirement. Each entry must still independently meet the skill criteria to be valid.
5.3 You may cancel recurring billing at any time via your account dashboard.
5.4 Failed payments do not entitle an Entrant to entry.
6. Judging & Selection of Winners (Skill-Based)

6.3 No random draw, lottery mechanism or element of chance is used to determine winners.
Tie-Breaks
6.4 Where multiple Entrants achieve the same result, a skill-based tie-breaker question or judging criterion will be used.
6.5 Tie-break answers will be assessed on merit. No random selection will be used.
